Theory Of Mind- It is a purely theoretical concept at this stage (with no real-life applications). It refers to an AI system’s ability to attribute mental states to self and other intelligent beings.

Examples: No practical applications have been discovered as yet.

Self-Aware- Highly intelligent systems that are aware of themselves and can perceive emotions, behaviors, and acumens of both humans and other systems.

Examples: Remember R2D2 from Star Wars? It is a great example of a self-aware AI-based robot.
